What if I violate the newly enacted Stay-at-home Order?

On April 3, 2020, the Governor’s Executive Order 20-91 was enacted and will remain in effect until April 30, 2020. This Order affects the daily lives of Floridians by limiting the ability of an individual to leave their home only for Essential Services and Activities. Alongside the limitations in place already on an individual to leave home only for supplies, medical purposes and other essential daily needs, the newly enacted Order further inhibits the ability of a person to maintain a viable livelihood.

In the event that an individual is found to be in violation of the Stay-at-Home Order, that person is susceptible to arrest and prosecution of a Second Degree Misdemeanor, punishable by up to 60 days in jail and a maximum $500.00 fine.
